    • RUTH BISSETT - Mrs. Ruth Bissett, age 97, died June 20, 2003, in the Crockett County Care Center. Graveside service was at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, in Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo. Arrangements were by Preddy Funeral Home. Mrs. Bissett was born in Ennis to E. F. and Mary Perkins Lyon on Nov. 22, 1905. She married Bill Bissett in Vernon on Dec. 24, 1927. They lived in San Angelo for five years while Bill coached at San Angelo High School. Afterward, they moved to the ranch in Crockett County where they ranched for many years. In 1950, Ruth and Bill moved back to San Angelo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1988. She is survived by one son, Robert Lyon Bissett; two step- grandsons, Bill Bissett and wife Judy, and Wayne Bissett and wife Laura. Great-grandsons are Nace Bissett and James Bissett. Great-granddaughters are Georgia Bissett and Robin Bissett. 6-25-2003 Ozona Stockman
